DIANE LINES, MUSIC DIRECTOR

A multi-talented keyboardist, singer, music director and arranger, Diane has worked with a variety of artists and musical projects in Vancouver and abroad. Locally, when she's not directing the PALS Chorus, she is the keyboardist/vocalist with The Dal Richards Orchestra and the Assistant Musical Director of the high-spirited Universal Gospel Choir. Diane also tours with her own show "JUMP! A Celebration of Swing, Boogie and Blues" and most recently, was the Musical Director of "Bittergirl The Musical" at the 2015 Chalottetown Festival in PEI. Career highlights include two years as accompanist for Michael Buble and shows with Shari Ulrich, Alfie Zappacosta and Jim Byrnes.

Originally from Banff, Diane studied at the Banff School of Fine Arts, at Toronto's Humber College of Performing Arts, and at Cleo Laine and John Dankworth's Wavendon School of Music in England. A keen life-long learner, she returned to school after her son was born and obtained a Master's Degree in Social Psychology from SFU...something she finds beneficial when working in the artistic community and with teenagers!
